Phury later decides to take another as his First mate despite his growing feelings for her and how she soothes him for her sake since she never wanted this in the first place. Instead she is forgotten in her room and Phury does not care about her existence.

He flashed her his fangs and hissed like a cat. As enshrinned Quinn’s story, I fail to see how the race can be so desperate for “young” and treat one as an outcast because he has two different colored eyes. Our customer reviews Having read all the Black Dagger Blaco series I was eagerly looking forward to Phury’s story.

It was a let down for many different reasons. He’s half symphath and owner of a night club. Thats ensbrined got him in this predicament in the first place.

Lover Enshrined by J.R. Ward | : Books

Which powered him up like nothing else. There were too many mini stories to do justice to one. I’m not sure how many more books Ms.

Oct 01, Mel rated it it was amazing Shelves: I thought lover unbound was bad but this one was worse. Glack for me as the author.

In a single minded resolve, Cormia throws away all her obligation to her sisters and decides that she was going to let him mark her and keep him for herself but after it was done she realized that it would not change anything. I was extremely happy to be getting more of Z and Bella though; i love those two. No personality, no dreams, no power, no dialog, no nothing. And when Phury finally got his act together and allowed himself to accept Cormia’s love, it was a beautiful moment and brought tears to my eyes.

To me, this only shows how misunderstood and unvalued he still is.

I felt engaged with the development of addiction’ issues by the author. Although Zsadist and Bella were featured a little mainly in dxgger storyline regarding the birth of their childand Wrath had a few moments, the others were barely mentioned.

With Lover Unbound readers saw a change in focus with the overall story arc receiving more prominence than the romance between the central characters. The locer thing is that they are like different sides of the same coin.

Como mucho un 3. The plot was solid though I wish there were more on Phury and Cormia and less from the lesser point of view. That brothefhood being Xhex. And she wants Phury for herself alone. Readers also learn a few new things about Xhex, while the sexual tension between her and John Matthew ratchets up a notch. I am even beginning bbrotherhood “feel” for the Scribe Virgin The interesting thing is that Rhev is the “dark knight,” whereas Phury is the “white knight,” yet in some ways Phury might be more tarnished.

I was so excited when Phury’s book came out. Shit, can they share first place? Endless discussions, arguments, advices between Phury and his wizard who tho Phury and Cormia I really really like Phury.

Lover Enshrined is a story of a couple battling with their responsibilities and their wants amidst the race’s troubles. The introducing of Lash into the Lessening society was definitely an interesting twist; promising a more worthy enemy.

I continued to enjoy the deep friendship between John Matthew, Qhuinn, and Blaylock, but the surprising confession of one of the friends nearly causes a huge rift in the trio while the rash actions of another, unwittingly leads to an escalation in the war between the vampires and the lessers.

I loved the way emotions washed over John in the wake of seeing his adopted father again. Shame shame shame on you. View all 84 comments. There is also a brief appearance by the Scribe Virgin, and plenty of action from the Omega’s side with a new fore-lesser ragger, Mr. At first I was thinking Phury got the shaft by getting this kind of romance, but now I think Ward did him a favor. Nothing was resolved Nothing. And most of all, I felt his isolation. I also thought that daggger was a little too much plot crammed into one book that perhaps, if spread out, could have created a couple of even richer stories, but I still enjoyed reading it.

I was glad the chosen were freed and with them V’s twin sister. Comia isn’t a impressive heroine for me. D, a good ol’ country boy but still a royal psychowhich I couldn’t help but find rather funny.
